The important thing about the Galaxy Note is that it is BIG! Phones from all the big smart phone manufacturers have been getting bigger and bigger (one thing to distinguish them from the iPhone) but the Note jumps up to a full 5.3 inch screen. The major other feature this brings is a stylus for drawing and taking free-hand notes.

Although the Galaxy S II's screen is a full one inch smaller than the Note, it is still a nice big smartphone with a great screen. It's Samsung's main Android phone, with a good camera and will (like the Note) soon be upgraded to the latest version of the software (Ice Cream Sandwich)
