    Philip Woodward Check out Crashpadder. It's a website where people rent their spare rooms. Generally quite cheap and you often get a much better experience as your host can tell you about the city.

    Philip Woodward Airbnb is similar, and a bigger company at the moment so more choice. But Crashpadder look to make the experience more personal, so try them first.

    I saw this briefly last night. I'll check out Crashpadder first then as I need this to be 'mum friendly' so I want somewhere nice... just on a small budget!! THANKS
