As you the wedding is in the Bahamas you can away with a lot more than if it was in a cold country. My recommendation would be to go with a maxi dress. It would be appropriate for the beach but also your part in the wedding. If you like wearing heels then go for wedges because of the sand but if not then sandals would be appropriate. You can always get a maxi dress altered if it is too long as it's cheap to do this.
