Epson's are reliable machines, I've had many different models for years.
This is the budget option - it will get the job done.
I'll add a couple of other higher priced ones.

A compact option with built in wi-fi, well worth it for £10 more as allows for remote printing (though I don't think remote scanning).

The two below don't have fax - but with a scanner you can just do fax via the PC (depends how often you fax as to whether you really need in built fax)

Here's the equivalent HP 4-in-1 option.
Both Epson and HP will give you great results, and have readily available cartridges.
I'd buy Epson over HP, but only because that's what I've had - there's really not a lot to differentiate them now - print quality will be excellent on both (especially photo print quality).
