Cool present ideas for a middle aged Dad? He is into sports (rugby, football, golf), reading, gadgets etc.

Lamborghini thrill experience

Elliebellx Cornish Depending on your budget, this is always a good sort of thing to go for. Providing he likes cars, this present lasts the whole day and seems to go down well with whoever gets it.

FridgePad (Silver)

Elliebellx Cornish This is a magnet that will hold your ipad to the fridge, it's really cool and means you can listen to music/watch a film without getting it dirty from the kitchen. You'll obviously need an iPad though.

This looks cool and I want one, but my fridge door is curved (agh) and so it won't stick on. Works on normal fridge doors though. If you gave him this and he doesn't have an iPad it could be a segue into giving the most generous Xmas present ever...

Green Pro Golf Accessory

Elliebellx Cornish This is a cool thing to have for someone that enjoys golf.

Clocky (Chrome)

Elliebellx Cornish This is one of my favourite gadgets at the moment. It's suitable for anyone but especially people that love the snooze button. The aim is to get you out of bed as as soon as it starts going off it will run away and you have to chase it to turn it off. BRILLIANT

Nintendo Wii Console with Wii Sports + Wii Sports Resort and Motion Plus Controller (Wii)

Elliebellx Cornish This is expensive so it depends on your budget but is great for the whole family and includes lots of sports so will be perfect for your dad.

PGA Tour Indoor & Outdoor Putting Mat

Elliebellx Cornish This can be quite childish but is good for someone that plays golf.

Kindle, Wi-Fi, 6" E Ink Display

Philip Woodward I think this will be one of this year's most popular gifts. Reading lovers can be reluctant at first, but once you get used to an ereader they are brilliant - changing pages with one hand makes reading even more leisurely! Plus it's so quick to get a new book - browse, buy, it's on your Kindle!

Kobo eReader / Touch Edition / Black

Philip Woodward In the interests of balance - the Kindle isn't the only ereader out there. I've not used the Kobo but it seems to be getting popular. It has the advantage it's not tied to Amazon's book store and software - once you buy a book it's yours. And the book catalogue seems to be as large, if not larger, than Amazon's. This is the touch edition, there's another model about £30 cheaper.

Kobo Wireless eReader / Black

Kodak EasyShare P76 7 inch High Resolution Digital Photo Frame with 1000 image storage capacity

Elliebellx Cornish This is a really good gift for a family memeber as it can hold so many pictures and you never get bored of flicking through them.

AZATOM iFlute SILVER Docking station portable speaker for iPod & iPhone 4S - 4 - 3GS - 3G - 3 / Unique design / quality sound / Audio output plus a remote control

Elliebellx Cornish If your dad has an iphone or ipod then this is a really cool looking gadget.
