pardeep kullarOut of all the apps that show nearby places and recommendations, I just use the simplest one because that is all I want most of the time e.g. nearest restaurants, petrol stations, atm's etc
James BoltonI haven't used Evernote but Catch is a great note taker and is constantly being improved. The FREE account gives the user 70mb storage which is pretty decent.
Fabian SassonThere are lots of note taking apps, but for me this is the most focussed with seamless synchronisation, excellent search and tagging features.
Fabian SassonSave articles from the web for offline reading and sharing. Instapaper is probably my most used app, it cuts all the clutter from a web page and gives you just the text and images formatted for readability.
Fabian SassonClipboard on steroids. Take anything which you've copied (text, links, images) on your iPhone: save them, then send them to the clipboard of your computer. Magic, but Mac only.
Fabian SassonIf you use Google Reader for your RSS news feeds then Reeder is an absolute must. It provides offline storage, superbly formatted text and fast navigation.
